SOLUTION
Hampton Inn & Suites partnered with IPOWER Alliance based out of nearby Lyons, CO, due to their full service offering as a value-added integrator, providing comprehensive project management, from initial site assessment and electrical infrastructure planning to funding assistance, turnkey installation and ongoing support.
Multiple Level 2 EV Chargers: With guests staying overnight they chose to install 3 Autel Level 2 stations with 2 ports each throughout their parking lot. This new installation can charge up to 6 cars each night.
Increased Customer Satisfaction: By adding onsite chargers their guests were able to check in, park, plug in, and relax knowing that their car would be ready to hit the road the next morning. And with no idle or parking fees they would only be paying for the charge.
ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES
Generate Additional Income: Hotels can generate additional revenue through charging fees, optimize underutilized parking spaces, and demonstrate corporate commitment to sustainability.
Qualify for Incentives: Hotels and other commercial businesses can benefit from significant federal and state grants as well as tax incentives when installing EV charging infrastructure.
These financial advantages not only reduce the upfront investment but also accelerate the return on investment, making EV charger installations an economically attractive option for hotels looking to modernize their amenities while managing costs effectively.
